Voron V2.4 R2 (300x300) For me it's the fastest 3D printer so far, and the first DIY 3D printer i've made. Mainboard Octopus pro V1.0 F466 Raspberry pi 3B+ TFT Display and 12864 Display 310x310 DC Heat bed 3mm glass custom (can not find any 4mm glass store on my neighbourhood) Mellow Crazy NF Extruder 24V Power supply 40A DCDC SSR RGB light (as chamber lighting) Klipper firmware I'm using Creality ABS for all printed parts (red and black) My experiences with it: 1. Faster printing then my Ender 3 V2. 2. T 3. Çan not read from sdcard But no complain, it's still young... Just have to observe more and make some adjustment. I'm not focusing on print quality at this moment, right now the focus is on QGL, Print Start routine and the perfect 1st layer. Note: I'm not using LDO stepper motor, i'm using cheap Nema17 For belt, i'm using 6mm for all the axis. Not using ADXL (so the speed can not be as crazy fast as other Voron out there) upgrade? nope, i'm happy with current set. then again, building it almost make me broke :p upgraded to stealthburner added klipperscreen Done on december 15. ![]() |

Day 32 |
Day 32: almost all parts printed. Its take 2(include the bad parts) roll of 1kg Creality ABS black filament and almost half of Creality ABS red filament.
- AB linear rail installed
- Back panel, Deck and Bottom panel cover(using 3mm impraboard)
Waiting for another linear rail shipment form Two Three Official.
Now,... The controlboard, my eyes set for Octopus pro v1.0 or Octopus v1.1 with BTT 2209 driver. But i stumbled upon new controlboard... Manta M8P+CB1
Manta M8P is the controlboard with 8 driver slot like Octopus, the different its had dedicated slot for raspberry CM4 if you alrwady have one and if didn't own one,CB1 is the same as CM4 but cheaper(if only this module came out before i buy rapsberry pi 3B+, i would try this one because its half of price and new...).
